Universal Barbeque

The newly opened Barbeque Buffet in Hinjewadi. It's very huge and decent ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. Coming to the service, it's very slow. Average time to serve starters on grill is more than 10 mins. If you are more than 6 people then only you will get double grill ,doesn't matter to them if there vegetarian people are there or not. The only matter to them is money.
 The price for Non-Veg buffet is 800+ tax and veg is 750+tax.
They have 3 soup, 8 veg starters and 6 non-veg starters. 4 to 5 live counters are there which includes Pizza, Noodles, Pani-puri and many more.

The starters includes Paneer Tikka, Mushroom tikka, Dhabe wala khumb, Chilly garlic prawns, fish tikka, Nawabi tangdi, mutton seekh and soya chili wings. The taste of starters are not at all good . all are average in taste. The worst one is Pizza. don't dare to try. The only thing we liked was Pani-Puri, rest of the starters are taste less. value for money is not an option.

Coming to the main course they have 6 to 7 both veg and non-veg options. We tried all of them found the chicken main course dish was good. They have Chinese and continental options as well.

Deserts around 6 to 7 options but not at all good. Fruit Custard should be served chilled but they are serving normal with only 2 fruits in it. which was task for us to taste it.Other deserts are also average in taste.

Over all we didn't find anything good apart from pani-puri and the chicken.

Mamagoto, Fun Asian eating

This is one of the big chain of restaurant under Azure hospitality. They have many restaurants all over India. This is the first branch in Pune which was opened few months back.

Mamagoto (It sounds some weird and crazy): The meaning is "To play with Food". This is a fusion Pan Asian restaurant where you can have Asian cuisine and drinks. They have a huge menu which includes Soup, Salads, Small plates(Starters), Dumplings, Maki, Main course, Rice bowls, Wok to share and mouthwatering deserts. They have very limited drinks menu which only includes non-alcoholic drinks but later they are going to add alcoholic drinks as well.

The ambiance is kind of full of pictures of Japaneses, Chinese food and happy moments. They have small bar which only prepared mock-tails right now. It's kind casual dining place where you can have great food with family and friends.

They are a lot to choose from the menu. A bit difficult as the menu is purely Asians. Better take some suggestions from the restaurant boys. They will definitely help you out. The service was fast. average time for a dish to serve on your table is 10 mins.

Hot Veg Dumplings

steamed veggies dumplings dipped in soy and red chillis. the taste was good but few of friends didn't like the taste.

Vegetable Basil Cups

This is one of the unique dish i have ever had. A mix exotic veggies fried with soya, crushed pepper which served will crispy lettuce cup. It's an amazing and delicious dish i have ever had.

Spicy Prawn Dumplings

Fried prawns filled with dumplings. the taste was average. They mentioned it's spicy but it was not at all spicy. The taste can be made better by using some other spices.

Tossed Fish in hot sauce

Fried Basa fish tossed in homemade flaky chili sauce with spring onions. the taste was good but a bit sweetness was there.

Yangchow champions fried Rice

A mix of egg and rice fried in different sauce. The taste was really awesome. 

A wok fried noodles with mix of bell peppers, spring onions and other exotic veggies with different sauces. The taste was really awesome and mouth watering.

As this is one of the big chain restaurants over the world. They have 2 branches in Pune. We heard good review about TGI for other location. It was a Saturday night, We booked a table for 4 people but after we reached we got to know they didn't kept any table reserved for us. The manager was arranged one table after few minuets. They have both Indoor and outdoor seating. The Indoor arrangement is good and the place is bit happening. But the outside seating arrangement is average, so while booking ask for Indoor table.

One point they need to take care is the service. It's very slow and the table representatives are not knowledgeable about the menu. The time taken for a dish to serve is more than half n hour. They took more than 20 mins to serve a Beer. Service was very poor.

We ordered Fried mozeralla Sticks,Pepper roasted chicken,tomato basil soup and Pasta puttanesca.

Crispy and golden outside, filled with cheese inside and creamy in taste. Delicious cheese fried nuggets. A must try dish for veterinarian people.

Peach honey smash is mix of Whiskey,honey ,fresh lemon and lime juices,peach puree.
Strawberry lynchburg , A famous citrus classic is shaken with strawberries and jack Daniel's.

One half chicken roasted with chilli pepper sauce. served with fries. The softness and juicy of chicken is perfect. The taste was delicious and must try dish.







This was one of the worst pasta i ever had. 

The cocktails are best in the world.

Wow what a taste and the rasgulla the story starts here.
This one of the best authentic Bengali restaurant with dishes from all over the India. They serves Bengali, Chettinad, Goan, North Indian, Kashmiri and gujarati.

They are using latest technology, you have to place the order via tablet. They have two sections as See on the move (The food displayed over conveyor belt) and two one normal al-carte order.

The food is also be delivered by a small automated musically truck. So due this automation the service is very fast and well organised.






We ordered Mourgh ka sula: Chicken tikka mix of indian spices roasted in tandoor. a delicious and juicy chicken. A must try Dishes.
















Mutton Pepper Fry: A spicy and tasty mutton in a less gravy dish. The pepper taste too good in it. If you don't like spicy food then try some other one. A perfect combination with steam rice.







Rasgulla: The pure and Authentic Rasgulla. The softness and taste of rasgulla was very good. There is no other restaurant those provide this authentic Rasgulla.

Gimlet : The cocktail. They have few cocktails available in house.

BLUE WATER, Ravet

One of the beautiful place as per the photo uploaded in Zomato. We visited few days back the ambiance is average not up to the mark. The seating arrangement was too congested as it's looks like a canteen.

We tried few of their best food and drinks. the menu is very huge with proper description about dishes.









Charmula cottage cheese: Paneer tikka with mix of some traditional spices like coriander,Parshley , Chillies and cumin paste , roasted in tandoor. the taste was good as it's roasted in tandoor. Must try for paneer lover.

Ginger chicken wings: spicy marinated fried chicken wings flavored of ginger. The taste was really delicious and must try for chicken lovers.

We tried some Italian and Mexican food below.






Roasted Veggi Pizza: Pizza with tomato sauce, Mozzarella, roasted veggies. The taste of pizza disappointed us as the taste was not at all good. they can make the pizza far better.












Pink lady pasta chicken:  Tomato cheese with herb baby corn, pepper olives with penne pasta. Which looks very delicious and mouth watering. The taste was average.













Pasta Alferdo veg: Cheese broccoli , mushroom, calamite olive with Penne pasta. The taste of pasta was really delicious and must try dishes.













Few Drinks which includes Lipstick, Sandstorm and Kingfisher. The mock tails are good and presentation was very beautiful.

service: The staff need to be more fast or they need to appoint more staff as in week end it's very rush. they are unable to handle to crowd. Due to that the service was very slow. we waited for 10mins to get a folk and knife.

Independence Brewing Company, Baner

Now it's in Baner, high street. This one their 2nd branch in Pune. The ambiance is really cool and vibrant. A well presented place with enough number of seating arrangements. They have both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements. We choose indoor for crazy and cool music. Best place to hang out with friends over a glass of drinks.










They have their in house brewery. They have 9 different types of beers. For taster they charged 100. The drinks will be served in very beautiful glass. Its depends on your taste to choose the best beer.
We choose Belgian wit which is made of wheat 🌾, pilsner and oats. A rich in taste. I liked it very much.
They have many cocktails, wines, whisky and many more in their drinks menu. But I can't see any IMFL or imported beers in their menu.

Food was delicious and the presentation was very good.
We ordered Independence Chicken fry: this one of the best chicken fry I ever had.
chicken and smoked chilli fry: it's bit spicy but the spicy is best thing for the dish. Chicken fried with onion, peanuts and egg granules on it. The best starter I ever had.
The quantity is bit less as per they charged but it's ok while you getting best food in that price.








The service was good, the attenders are friendly and interactive.

Pune have diversed Nature as people around the world comes to visit this beautiful place. People from all over the world stays here for their passion, Work and for diversified culture. In Pune we have restaurants from different cuisine includes south,North , East and west.

This is one of the best Authentic Kerala and south Indian Cuisine restaurants with a beautiful ambiance. The best thing is wooden style design with south side Wall papers in the wall. It's a casual dining, the ambiance describes a lot.

FOOD:

The have breakfast & snacks Menu which serves in the morning and evening. The usual Lunch and Dinner menu which have many dishes includes Chicken,Mutton, sea food and vegetarian dishes.
Don't worry about the name. Just ask the attenders.They have very good knowledge on menu, they will just best food as per your taste.

Prawns KC Special Pollichathu: One of their signature dishes from the house. A simple dry curry prepared with Prawns, Indian spices, tomatoes, onions, ginger and garlic coated in Banana Leaf.
The taste was really awesome and delicious.

Veg Pollichathu: Mix vegetables prepared by using Pollichathu spices coated in Banana Leaf. Like prawns the veg one also delicious. A must try dish from the house.

Chicken Chettinad

Chicken Chettinad Curry: One of my favorite dish from south Indian cuisine. If you like spicy food then this would be the best dish to have with rice,Appam and Kerala Paratha. The combinations are really delicious. The Chettinad was reach in Spices which looks mouth watering.

Paneer Masala

Paneer Masala Curry: A perfect blend of  authentic south Indian spices, Coconut and Paneer(Cottage cheese). The taste was really good. Best combination try with Appam or Paratha.
The softness paratha is really good and Best class Apam.







Bamboo Biryani: This time we go with Veg. The Biryani cooked inside a Bamboo (it's strange, right?). The taste was normal as other biryani i had before. I didn't find any thing special by making the biryani inside a bamboo. But it looks amazing and smells nice.

Drinks: They serves some Mock tails which are limited. We tried Raw Mangoo Kulukki.

Service: A quick service as they enough number of attenders. Very friendly and co-operative attenders having knowledge on the Menu.
The Food is perfect what they charged. The taste,quantity and quality all are in best place.

Final Verdict: A must visit place if you want to try some genuine and authentic kerala food. Definitely you are going to love the food.Try the delicacies as suggested above.
